Google Docs (also known as Google Apps) is a group of online tools for collaboratively creating and sharing documents.  ​It includes Google Docs (text editor), Google Sheets (spreadsheets), Google Slides (presentations) and Google Drive (file storage), and is free for anyone with a Google (gmail) account.

  1. Go to https://accounts.google.com/SignUp?hl=en
  2. Enter your details to create an account
  3. While each of the apps has their own website, Google Drive offers a central location to create and manage their content.
