Quickstart
The Office365 suite of web-based applications is available to staff through the VUW Software Centre or from any internet-connected device at Office.com.
To install from Office.com

- Go to portal.office.com
- Enter your staff email address, click sign in.
- Select 'staff login', enter your username as [email protected] and staff account password.
- Once logged in, select the web app you wish to open (Mail, Word Online, OneDrive, etc) or select Install office.
OneDrive
OneDrive is Microsoft's file hosting solution that allows users to sync files and later access them from a web browser or mobile device.
OneDrive is a file storage solution provided by Microsoft. It is provided as part of Office365 and gives all staff and students 1TB of storage. OneDrive allows you to access your files from anywhere on any device.

OneNote
OneNote is an online notebook which is part of the Microsoft Office group of programs.
OneNote is a digital notebook that you can use on any device. It allows you to store text, images and video. You can have many notebooks each relating to a different course or project and you can share notebooks with others if you want to work collaboratively. OneNote is part of Office365.
OneNote can be used online by logging into Office365 in a web browser. You can also download it by choosing to install Office from the Office365 start page. Microsoft has a lot of useful documentation which can be found at Office Support.

Teams
Teams is a collaborative personal workspace, including video conferencing and Instant Messaging communication. This makes it a great way to keep in touch with your colleagues when off campus as it is accessible from any internet-capable device.
