Spring Clean your Course T1 2021

CAD are offering facilitated sessions to help you get your Blackboard course site ready for Trimester 1 and dual mode teaching. Similar to ‘Shut up and write’ sessions, the focus here is on working through any changes in the session itself so that you can walk out the door confident your courses meet the minimum online course standard.

Each session will consist of a short (10-15 minute) introduction, with practical ideas and suggestions for updating and refreshing your course, followed by dedicated time to get the work done. You can work on any part of your course that needs some attention. You choose what you work on and if you get stuck along the way, you’ll get immediate support from CAD staff.
There are both face-to-face and online sessions available and various sessions have been scheduled for each Faculty. If you cannot attend the entire session, you’re welcome to join for the time that you can make it. You are also welcome to attend more than one session. Registration is encouraged to help with planning, but you are welcome to turn up on the day regardless.
Please bring your laptop to the face-to-face sessions and make sure you have access to your course. For those attending the workshops face to face, your faculty learning designer will also be available afterwards for 1:1 help with specific questions or problems that take a little longer to fix.
