Who else can I contact for help?
If you require specific information or assistance in your role, your course coordinator or school manager and administrator(s) are likely to the best points of contact. Peers tend to be a good source of information and support as well. Having a community of tutors, demonstrators and/or markers to share ideas and experiences can be extremely valuable.
I am new to tutoring/demonstrating at VUW - where do I start?
If this is your first time tutoring or demonstrating at our university, you will be required to complete tutor training. This initial training will provide you with foundational information for getting started in your role. Talk to your school office to find out more about taking part in tutor training.
